Amy's Finally History

There's a secret I've been keeping. And it's been a rough road. But I figured that today is the day to spill the beans.

I'm finally history.

Wait? Wth does that mean?

It doesn't mean I'm dying. And it doesn't mean I'm living the state (I would that that were true! No more snow...take me someplace warm!)

Instead it means that I have taken a new job. Far from the land of marketing and into the land of history. That's right. Into a place where I can use the degree I've worked so hard for, and continue to work so hard for.

My last day at the Department of Health as the Marketing Manager for Tobacco Prevention and Control will be Friday, February 15, 2013.

And my first day rockin' it with my homies in the Division of State History at the Department of Heritage and Arts will be Tuesday, February 19, 2013.

As the Munchkins would say:

(Munchkin 1)
From now on you'll be history

(Munchkin 2)
You'll be his...

(Munchkin 3)
You'll be his...

(Munchkin 4)
You'll be history

Let's hope they're right. Because now I am history!
